The showgirls are putting on the biggest bash in Sugar Blue history, a burlesque blowout not to be missed! Come visit the grand new Burlesque Lounge on Friday 30th January 2009, and help the Sugar Blue crew make merry in their newly renovated home!

About The Burlesque Lounge

In the centre of Perth’s nightlife district, upstairs above the hustle and bustle of William Street in Northbridge, the new Burlesque Lounge has had an interesting, and sometimes seedy past. Once upon a time a Mahjhong hall and an illegal casino, more recently the Perth arts scene has known this space as The Projection Lounge and later Ginger’s Garage. Falling now into Sugar Blue Burlesque hands, the newly renovated space will be home to Burlesque Academy classes and short courses, as well as retro markets, shows and events. The Burlesque Lounge will also be home to a photographic studio belonging to vintage glamour photographer David Woolley. Plans are to make The Burlesque Lounge a mecca for vintage glamour and burlesque in Perth. Stay tuned for exciting announcements!”
